Smiles for Seniors Foundation is a nonprofit 501 C (3) organization serving low income seniors in the Inland Empire and surrounding areas. We help seniors financially when everyday emergencies and necessities arise and do not fit in to the budget of our low income seniors such as heating and utility payments, groceries, and help pay for life saving medication just to name a few.

This year we are holding our 4th Annual Stockings for Seniors Holiday Program. This is when we combine efforts with local children to bring joy and cheer to the residents of nursing homes. Last year the activity directors from each home were asked to make a wish list and Smiles for Seniors granted their wish. Two of the homes asked for a karaoke machine, the other a boom box. Armed with over 4 dozen little elves (most of them children) we passed out warm soft blankets to each of the residents along with lots of other games, arts and crafts supplies and goodies for all.

Many seniors feel sad and blue around the holidays thinking of memories past and friends and family that have passed on. Many of them receive very few visits and some; none at all. We want to help to alleviate the loneliness some seniors may feel while staying in a nursing home over the holidays. This year we will be visiting 3 nursing homes and bringing gifts to over 300 residents. We need friends like you in the community to help us with our holiday program. We realize that you get many requests this time of year and hope you will choose to help Smiles for Seniors.

Any donation of $250.00 or more will receive a free listing as a senior sponsor in our newsletter and website.
